Lascaux II : immerse yourself in prehistory...

Eight kilometres from the Lascaux Vacances campsite, in the village of Montignac, the Lascaux caves were one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. The frescoes there date from 15,000 years ago. These days the cave is closed to the public, but you can visit the replica site, Lascaux IV.
